  2. Oh yea I have had this fact shown to me—At church in our Sunday school we are studying the gospel of John and there is this person in the class who repeatedly will say–We have to obey–I have not said anything to him to start an argument but as I go through the week Father uses that phrase to teach me that I wont have to worry about obeying because as a member of His New Covenant with Himself alive in me He will prod me unto obedience and even when I do not listen to His leading and commit an act of sin He will not abandon me but will pull me up out of the dirt wash me off and onward we will go–He will say to me–Yes I saw what you did and I was not happy about it but lets go on and see if next time we can do better–Ok Dad lets go.

    • When it comes to obedience in the New Covenant, it’s the obedience of faith! (Romans 1:5&16:26). “What must we “DO” to do the works of God? Jesus said, “This is the work of God, that you believe (faith in) in Him whom He has sent” (John 6:28-29).

      thanks Kenneth
